Who runs this site

fontgenerator.tech is built and maintained by a small team publishing under the byline "fontgenerator.tech team" rather than an individual name. We'd rather be upfront about that than invent a persona or credentials we don't have. What we can stand behind is the work itself: every Unicode mapping in this tool is checked against the character tables cited in our testing methodology, and every factual claim on this site is either sourced or explicitly marked as not yet verified.

Why this exists

Most fancy-text generators are hard to trust: it's rarely clear which styles actually cover which characters, whether "works everywhere" claims are backed by anything, or what happens to the text you type. This site is an attempt to do the opposite — exact character-support reporting per style, no fabricated compatibility badges, and a clear statement that your text never leaves your browser (see Privacy).

What we haven't finished yet

Real-device platform testing (Instagram/Discord on an actual phone) and a manual screen-reader pass are both still pending — see testing methodology for exact status. We'd rather say that plainly than quietly imply otherwise.
