Text you type into the generator

All text transformation runs locally in your browser. The text you type or paste into the generator or the plain-text converter is never sent to our servers, logged, included in analytics events, or written into a URL. It exists only in your browser’s memory for the current page session and is cleared on refresh.

What is stored on your device

If you favorite a style, only its style ID (for example serif-bold) is saved to your browser’s local storage, under the key fontgenerator.preferences.v1. No text you’ve typed is ever part of that stored value. You can remove it at any time with the "Clear local preferences" control next to the generator.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages get visited, roughly how, and from where — not to watch individual sessions. It loads only on the live production site, never on a preview or development build. It records ordinary pageview data (the page you visited, a coarse location derived from your IP address, and general browser/device information). No code on this site ever passes the text you type into the generator or converter to Google Analytics, or to anywhere else: that text never enters a URL, a DOM attribute, or a JavaScript variable analytics code reads. Google's own handling of the data it collects is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not run session-replay or input-recording tools of any kind, on top of or instead of Google Analytics.

Third parties

Google Analytics (above) is currently the only third-party script this site loads. It carries a cookie; no other third-party advertising or tracking script is loaded. If that changes (for example, after an advertising review is approved), this page will be updated first, and any advertising will be kept isolated from the generator's document so your input is never exposed to it.
