Maps each letter to its real single-cell Grade-1 (uncontracted) English Braille dot pattern. Braille itself doesn't distinguish letter case within one cell — real Braille prefixes a separate capital-indicator symbol instead, which this simplified generator doesn't add — so uppercase and lowercase input produce the same pattern. Digits aren't supported and are preserved unchanged.

Limitations and compatibility
- This covers letters A-Z only, mapped case-insensitively to their real Grade-1 dot pattern — Braille itself doesn't distinguish case within a single cell (real Braille prefixes a separate capital-indicator symbol before a capitalized letter, which this simplified generator doesn't add).
- Digits, punctuation and contracted ("Grade 2") Braille shorthand are not supported; digits are preserved unchanged rather than approximated with an unverified pattern.
- This produces the correct Unicode code points for a real Braille cell, but it is not a substitute for reviewed accessibility content or an actual Braille display/embosser workflow — verify with a qualified source for anything safety- or education-critical.

Is this real Braille or just Braille-looking dots?
It's the real Unicode Braille Patterns block, using the standard English Grade-1 letter-to-dot-pattern mapping — the same code points a screen reader or Braille display would interpret as that letter's cell, not a visual approximation.
Why don't digits and capital letters work fully?
Real Braille represents digits and capitalization using separate prefix indicator cells before a letter, which this simplified single-character-in, single-character-out tool doesn't add — so digits are left as plain text and capitalization isn't distinguishable, both stated honestly rather than guessed at.
